The committee is a group of volunteers with a common interest to encourage healthy lifestyles that
reduces the incidence in our community Health Profile
-Members serve a two-year term with the commitment to attend quarterly meetings and work as a team to design free community activities that fit the Kent4Health mission: "Physical, Social and Environmental Wellness."

ShoWalk Indoor Walks
Volunteers work as a team at the sign-in table to greet new and existing attendees inside the
accesso ShoWare Center.
Location: 625 West James Street, Kent 98032
Length of Commitment: November through mid-June
Days: Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Be a people person - Genuinely like to be with people and be of service to them;
Be a team player - Ability to work with other volunteers in delivering program information;
Respectful - Toward others in words and deeds;
Listening - Able to listen and effectively communicate instructions and program to a variety of people;
Mobility - Able to walk short distances to set-up signs and have reliable transportation;
Physically active - Enjoys walking.
Volunteers 55+ may qualify for extra benefits through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
