  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Extended Hours - Tuesday & Wednesday evenings till 9 p.m.

Fully equipped with cardio and strength training equipment. Personal trainers available. (Note: Personal trainers require 24 notice of cancellation of appointment. If cancelled less than 24 hours prior to appointment, full fee will be charged.)

Fees:

  • Age 50+, $1.50 per visit or purchase a pass for $12.50/month, $30.00/3 months, $120/1 year,
  • Age 18-49, $3 per visit or purchase a pass for $20.00/month, $55.00/3 months or $210/1 year.

Yoga

Yoga helps ease tension, increase strength and flexibility and improves overall health. No previous yoga experience needed, beginners welcome. Instructor Carolyn Rosenfield has 16 years of teaching experience

Aerobics

This class is designed specifically for seniors interested in a total fitness program. Goals are improved cardiovascular fitness, increased range of motion, improved circulation, muscular strength, and general endurance. Great self-esteem builder. Come meet new friends and join the fun. Requirements: exercise mat, support shoes, appropriate hand held weights. 

Stretch & Strengthening - Beginning

This class will help you to improve your strength, flexibility and balance.  Even if you haven’t exercised in some time, you will fit into this class.  Parts of the class can be done standing or lying on the floor, but seated options are also available.  Mobility issues and other physical limitations can be accommodated. Please bring 1-3 pound hand weights.

Stretch & Strengthening - Intermediate

If you want to gain some overall body strength, become more flexible and improve your balance, then this is the class for you. This first class is a bit more challenging than the second class. It is designed for people who have been doing some exercise, but want to join a class. You will need to bring these items to class: Floor mat, fitness ball (65 cm - you can find them at Target, K-Mart, Big 5 and other department stores), hand weights or variable ankle/wrist(1 or 5 lbs to start with) according to your ability. You must be able to get up and down off the floor. 

Wii Sessions 

Mondays and Fridays, 12:30 - 3 p.m.

While the scheduled time may be more accurately described as “after lunch until the building closes”, our Wii sessions are fun for participants and spectators alike.  Volunteers Orval, Ralph and Dave will encourage and help all learn how to play these interactive games.  See what all the excitement is about!  Come for free coffee on Mondays at 11:00 am, stay for lunch and check out our Wii sessions.  

Line Dancing

Wednesdays, 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. Intermediate, 3 – 4 pm Beginners

Line dancing is student led.  Come and enjoy this group activity.

Hula Dancing 

2nd & 4th Thursdays, 1:30 – 2 p.m.

Come Hula with us!  Low impact aerobic movements to Hawaiian music.  Learn the olelo, mele,and hula (language, song and dance) of the 50th state. No charge.  

Ping Pong

Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

 Join in the afternoon sessions Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.  The first hour is designated for playing doubles, with singles play delayed until after 2:30 p.m. to ensure maximum participation.   Special thanks to Farrington Court Retirement Community for replacing one of our aging ping pong tables with a top of the line Stiga table. 

Chi Gong

Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.

Breathing for health and wellness.  Try out this great form of exercise similar to Tai Chi.  Class uses a video.

Please note that trip, class and activities fees have been increased to include a 9.5% sales tax as legally required by the State of Washington.
