LEAVE A LEGACY OF LOVE PRESENTATION
Thursday, February 13, 10:00 - 11:30 am
Why should your story be preserved for generations to come? One reason is to keep your memories alive. Another reason is to spare families the challenges and expense of dealing with such a project when planning a family memorial celebration. If you create your own legacy project now, you can choose your own stories, pictures, and music. Program Coordinator Helena Reynolds will outline simple steps to start this process and then share two examples of completed legacy projects. The first is a 40th Anniversary story she produced about her immigrant parents’ unique WWII pen-pal adventure entitled “Rise to the Dream Across the Sea.” The second is a 40th Anniversary highlight DVD about Helena and her husband’s life story she refers to as “Rise of the Fastball Across the Plate” because it features the impact of baseball on their marriage. Both projects have been updated from previous presentations which also includes a 40-foot wide photo essay life story. For more information, contact Helena at (253) 856-5164.
Free but pre-registration recommended
