SILVERSOUNDS NW ROCK 'N' ROLL FUNDRAISING CONCERT

“SilverSounds NW” is a 50+ plus member Rock ‘n Roll choir who are all aged 50+ singing songs from the 50’s to the 70’s. This year’s theme is What’s in the Name. Ask for a flyer with more details in June and other “Name”songs. Decadent dessert is provided by Stafford Suites. Doors open at 6:15 pm.
Tickets may be acquired for any size donation beginning Tuesday, July 30th.

Join us as we celebrate the life and art of the former Facility Manager, Lea Bishop. She served and led the senior center for 38 years. She was an avid photographer and world traveler. She created amazing photos that brought you along on her trips. The Kent Senior Activity Center will have a permanent gallery thanks to the generous donation from her husband, Emerson Bishop.

KENT FD CARES WELLNESS FAIR & FUNDRAISER

The Annual Kent Fire Department Cares Wellness Fair will continue its annual tradition of offering free flu shots, free health screenings, free blood pressure monitoring, vendor booths and free door prizes. $1.00 bagged lunches are coordinated by Farrington Court. NO ENTRY CHARGE

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, November 6. Special thanks to the Kent Firefighters Foundation volunteers for sponsoring, setting up, serving and cleaning up for this special event. (The Center closes at 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please also note any early closures the Center may have during the year.)
