Established in 2013, the Kent Valley Loop Trails system connects the Green River and Interurban Trails to create unique loop trail experiences in the regional biking and recreation destination of Kent. The KVLT system consists of five multi-use trail loops, featuring

  • mostly paved and level surfaces,
  • way-finding and regular location markers,
  • fantastic views of Mt. Rainier and the Green River valley, and
  • connections to several parks with amenities, the commercial corridor and downtown Kent.

INTERURBAN TRAIL USERS, PLEASE NOTE:  Access and use may be impacted by the South 228th Street Improvements project managed by the Kent Public Works Department; LEARN MORE HERE.

GREEN RIVER TRAIL USERS, PLEASE NOTE:  Van Doren's Landing Park and the adjacent portion of the Green River Trail - from 212th to the PSE Trail - is CLOSED until Summer 2022 for the King County Flood Control District's Lower Russell Levee Setback project. Detour routes are in place. Visit King County's website to LEARN MORE.
