Letters Aloud reads private letters in public - real letters by real people, read by great actors. Each show brings together letters to and from the famous, the infamous, and all us regular folk—making history come to life in surprising, inspiring, and hilarious ways. 

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with this special edition featuring letters of loving, longing, and leaving. Take a trip from the romantically sublime to the pathetically ridiculous! From awkward courtship, to horrible breakups, to loves of a lifetime, and lifetimes of love, we’ve got it all in these letters that range from steamy to sweet. Hear from the likes of Mark Twain, Frida Kahlo, Charles Bukowski, George Carlin, Virginia Woolf, Napoleon Bonaparte, and a nice kid who grew up to be Slash. Reality TV’s got nothing on Letters Aloud!

International Guitar Night

International Guitar Night is North America’s premier traveling guitar festival, bringing together the world’s foremost acoustic guitarists to perform their latest original compositions and exchange musical ideas in a public concert setting.  Each tour, IGN founder Brian Gore assembles a new cast of guitar luminaries come together for a special evening of solos, duets and quartets that highlight the virtuosity and diversity within the world of acoustic guitar. For International Guitar Night's 19th year of touring, Brian has assembled another incredible, dynamic quartet: Guest host Luca Stricagnoli, Italy's explosive contemporary showman, whose arrangements of heavy-metal songs have made him huge fan-favorite, returns by popular demand. He will be joined by two of France's acclaimed young prodigies, Swing guitarist Antoine Boyer and Flamenco guitarist Samuelito, as well as the ground-breaking Turkish fretless guitarist Cenk Erdogan. Partial Funding from WESTAF, National Endowment for the Arts, and Washington State Arts Commission.


Piano Battle: Andreas Kern v. Paul Cibis

This comedy-classic combat show is the brainchild of internationally accomplished pianists Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis. Piano Battle sees the duo go head-to-head on stage, charming and enchanting the audience with a variety of classical pieces. The two artists, with distinctly different performance styles, take turns to perform pieces by composers such as Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy. They even improvise based on tunes the audience requests. This is serious classical music in a whole new context – and YOU decide the winner. Partial Funding from WESTAF, National Endowment for the Arts, and Washington State Arts Commission.

Senior & Youth Tickets

• Age 60 and older qualifies for senior ticket rates.

• Age 25 and younger qualifies for youth ticket rates. 


• No refunds or exchanges – ticket purchases are final. 


• All seating for Spotlight Series events is assigned/reserved.

• Seating will begin 30 minutes prior to performance time.

• Late seating is not guaranteed, and is at the discretion of the performers and House Manager. 

Special Needs

Please let us know in advance how we might be able to help and we will provide reasonable accommodations to those needing special assistance.  For wheelchair seating, please advise when purchasing tickets. 


• Spotlight Series is family friendly and offers some performances that are especially well-suited for kids and families. Other performances may not be appropriate for young children – please use discretion when choosing performances for young patrons.

• Spotlight Series does not allow “Babes in Arms.” Children over 12 months must have a ticket.

• Guitar Lovers Package – Purchase tickets to both Kaki King: The Neck is a Bridge to the Body and International Guitar Night and receive 10% off tickets to both shows. 

Group Rates

• Buy 10 or more tickets to any one performance* and receive 10% off.

• Buy 20 or more tickets to any one performance* and receive 20% off.

(All group tickets must be purchased in the same transaction at the box office or over the phone.  Group rate discounts are not available online.)
