Kent City Council President Bill Boyce

As a long-time resident of Kent, Bill and his wife Debbie live in the Meridian neighborhood. They enjoy spending time with their five children (all graduates of the Kent School District) and three grandsons. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from City University and has worked 29 years for the Boeing Company, currently working as a 737 Human Resources Leader.

With a long-standing commitment to our city, Bill leads by example as evidenced by his extensive community service:

  • Kent School District Board of Directors: served 16 years with four terms as Board President
  • Kent Sunrise Rotary Club: past President and charter member
  • Criminal Justice Training Center: Commissioner for 13 years.

Bill's desire for Kent to be a safe, productive and fun place to live and work prompted him to run for the Kent City Council. From athletic and cultural programs to public safety and support for small business, Bill is committed to making our community a better place while being fiscally responsible and living within our means.
