The Kent Police Department ensures the rights of victims of crimes as well as witnesses and those involved in domestic violence incidents are upheld. In accordance with RCW 7.69.030 and RCW 10.99.030, the below resources are provided to individuals in these situations, and the community is encouraged to refer to the linked resources for current services, legal rights, and other information pertaining to witnesses and victims. If there are unanswered concerns for individuals who find themselves as a witness or victim to a crime of violence, they are encouraged to contact the department directly through the public in box so long as it is not an emergent situation in which 911 should be called.
