Annual Youth Fishing Experience

The annual Kent Parks Fishing Experience is a FREE, non-competitive event that focuses on teaching fishing techniques, safety around water, and environmental stewardship to children age 14 and under. Each participant is partnered with an experienced guide for a fishing lesson and an opportunity to catch a trout.

The Kent Parks Fishing Experience takes place the third Saturday of May each year. While this event is free, pre-registration is required. All fishing equipment is provided for participants. Information and registration are available every March.

Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Kent, Kiwanis Club of Kent, U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla 32, WDFW and our numerous other partners and volunteers that help make this memorable day special for the kids!
