The Centennial Center Gallery is a program of the City of Kent Arts Commission with a mission to celebrate art, provide diverse artists with exhibition opportunities, and to encourage public engagement.

The Gallery presents the work of Washington State artists in solo and small-group exhibitions, as well as an annual Summer Art Exhibit featuring an eclectic mix of work from multiple artists. We are excited to showcase our newest digital art exhibit, featuring eight works from seven digital media artists. Check out what's running now in the video below!

Joel Colvos

Joel Colvos scours Puget Sound beaches for marine debris that he transforms into works of art. Although not all his materials come from the sea, they are sourced from places where they would otherwise be discarded. You can see the history of these materials reflected in his work.

Jesse Proebstel

Jesse Proebstel is a multidisciplinary artist and gallery curator based in Seattle. He has a love of reusing discarded objects and finding a purpose for them. He has also collected antique paper for over 20 years and uses it to add deep layers to his work. Jesse works intuitively and hopes you find a joyful story in each piece.
