The Downey Farmstead Restoration project is entering the next phase of work, the relocation of Frager Road. A contractor for the City will be grinding up the existing roadway and utilizing this material as material for the new Frager Road.  This will necessitate closing the portion of Frager Road between the SR 516 overpass and the south end of the Old Fishing Hole park.

The contractor has been granted 90 working days to complete this project, and the road closure will begin on Monday, June 24 and continue until about August 1, 2019.

No parking is allowed in front of or between the Road Closed barricade on the south and the Highway 516 bridge. Dumping is strictly prohibited.

If you have any questions or comments regarding this matter, please contact Melissa Dahl at 253-856-6511 or via email at MDahl@KentWA.gov
