Kent Student Art Exhibit - March 11 -22
Downtown “art walk” to display Kent School District student talent
KENT, Wash. – February 5, 2019 – The creativity of over 550 Kent School District students will be celebrated at the 25th Annual Kent Student Art Walk, where students’ artistic talent will be on display March 11 - 22 throughout downtown Kent and Kent Station.
Over 24 downtown businesses and Kent Station will serve as art galleries, displaying students’ paintings, sketches and sculptures in lobbies and windows during regular business hours. Student art will also be on display at the Centennial Center Gallery, 400 West Gowe Street, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
An artwalk will take place on Thursday, March 14 where students and their families can view the art together. The Student Artwalk will also coincide with the Kent Downtown Partnership’s “Third Thursday” Artwalk.
