Beavers Northwest will be hosting another nature walk at Clark Lake Park in Kent, WA on Thursday, July 16th from 7:00 - 9:00 PM!

Participants will meet Beavers Northwest staff at the parking lot at the north end of the park at 7:00 PM. Beavers Northwest staff will lead attendees on a walk to explore Clark Lake Park and provide context on the beaver presence in this area. This is a great opportunity to see the impacts that beavers have on ecosystems, observe the plants and wildlife that thrive in beaver-modified systems, and discuss beaver coexistence in our human-modified ecosystems.

The walk will last approximately 2 hours and participants will travel a distance of approximately 1 mile on flat gravel trails and boardwalks. They recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and to dress for the weather. For best viewing of wildlife, they recommend bringing binoculars. They will have a few pairs available to borrow.
