As of July 1, 2016, the City of Kent will adopt the 2015 IBC, IRC, IMC, UPC, and 2015 Energy Code Editions.  We are currently updating our forms and handouts to reflect these changes.

Online Permits

The City of Kent offers the ability to apply for most over-the-counter Plumbing, Mechanical, and Reroof permits online and pay-by-phone.  Click the applicable permit link below to apply, and when finished, hit the submit button at the bottom of the page. Once the permit has been processed, you will be contacted via email with a Fee Listing and instructions on how to pay-by-phone. Permit fees have been adjusted, effective January 1, 2015. See Resolution 1902 for details.
